Persistence and progress moving and listening to his body became strong motivating factors
Bob has continued to pursue his passion through daily practice, attending open classes, private one-on-one partner sessions and instructing others - Bob celebrated participation in his 1000th yoga class one day before starting the 50th month of yoga!
The relatively good health Bob enjoys is attributed to yoga, improved nutrition, reduction of 'stress' from various sources and a monthly massage from Ray Hoyt
- overcome decades of debilitating breathing issues (asthma, allergies, sinus surgery) including a major thoracic reconstructive surgery at 50, spinal arthritis and chronic back pain
- transformed his body - he has become leaner, stronger, improved his balance, enhanced his flexibility and significantly improved his breathing while calming his mind through meditative asanas
Bob's background in biology and long interest of books on diverse topics (his bibliomania) have informed his interactions with senior clients, a primary focus of his yoga instruction - many of whom are dealing with medical conditions, pain issues and nutrition concerns
Bob is a patient and empathetic instructor. He has the knowledge and skill to modify postures and movements using props to help prospective clients deal with their health symptoms (often reflecting strength, balance, flexibility, breathing, pain issues) of all age groups within their abilities
What Bob has done for himself he can do for you
